{"id":18076,"date":"2017-12-07T16:47:58","date_gmt":"2017-12-07T22:47:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/brubakers.us\/?p=18076"},"modified":"2017-12-07T16:47:58","modified_gmt":"2017-12-07T22:47:58","slug":"chings-40th-birthday-adventure","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brubakers.us\/?p=18076","title":{"rendered":"Ching&#8217;s 40th Birthday Adventure"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Brian, Jay, Becca and I went on an <a href=\"http:\/\/islandroutes.com\/caribbean-tours\/bahamas\/12\/exumas\/60\/exuma-swimming-pigs-adventure\/\"  rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ocean safari adventure<\/a> with <a href=\"http:\/\/islandroutes.com\"  rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Island Routes<\/a> on the day of my actual 40th birthday. The excursion left from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marinaemeraldbay.com\"  rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Emerald Bay Marina<\/a>, about five minutes from our resort, which was super convenient. It meant more time adventuring on the boat and less time on the bus. <\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/37991208856\/in\/datetaken\/\"  title=\"Untitled\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4450\/37991208856_fb162415e1.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" alt=\"Untitled\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Our adventure included swimming with pigs and feeding iguanas. We also got to see several beautiful islands, some privately owned and some uninhabited. We got to see a huge osprey nest that has survived multiple hurricanes and hike up one of the islands and enjoy magnificent 360 views of the Exuma cays. We got to see the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the Caribbean Sea on the other. It was breathtaking.
