Taking a summer pre-session class was the dumbest idea I’ve ever had.\u00c2\u00a0 A three-credit-hour course crammed into two short weeks is definitely not my idea of the best way to start summer.\u00c2\u00a0 But alas, it was the decision I made.\u00c2\u00a0 I don’t think I will ever do it again either.<\/p>\n
I had class from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM and then I had to work from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.\u00c2\u00a0 We were covering anywhere between two to four chapters a day and I couldn’t keep up with the reading.\u00c2\u00a0 It was totally horrible.\u00c2\u00a0 The only consolation was that the teacher was really nice and he was really enthusiastic.\u00c2\u00a0 I think if the class would’ve been taught by anyone else, I would’ve slept through the entire two-week period.\u00c2\u00a0 Also, he owns Marble Slab Creamery<\/font><\/a> so he took us there for free ice cream yesterday (our last day of class).\u00c2\u00a0 That was really nice.<\/p>\n Anyway, I recall being relieved at the end of the two-week course.\u00c2\u00a0 I had planned on sleeping in everyday for the rest of summer.\u00c2\u00a0 But, lo and behold, my supervisor told me on Friday that I get to start my new nine-to-six shift (which Brian totally predicted, by the way).\u00c2\u00a0 That’s Mr. Murphy for you.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Taking a summer pre-session class was the dumbest idea I’ve ever had.\u00c2\u00a0 A three-credit-hour course crammed into two short weeks is definitely not my idea of the best way to start summer.\u00c2\u00a0 But alas, it was the decision I made.\u00c2\u00a0 I don’t think I will ever do it again either.
