{"id":15730,"date":"2016-11-13T18:35:06","date_gmt":"2016-11-14T00:35:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/brubakers.us\/?p=15730"},"modified":"2016-11-13T21:38:47","modified_gmt":"2016-11-14T03:38:47","slug":"trolls-movie-with-nickira","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brubakers.us\/?p=15730","title":{"rendered":"Trolls Movie with Nickira"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I took Nickira to see <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt1679335\"  target=\"_blank\">Trolls<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Anna_Kendrick\"  target=\"_blank\">Anna Kendrick<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Justin_Timberlake\"  target=\"_blank\">Justin Timberlake<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Zooey_Deschanel\"  target=\"_blank\">Zooey Deschanel<\/a>) on Friday night and it was awesome. I heard about the movie but hadn&#8217;t seen any of the previews. I didn&#8217;t have any specific plans for hanging out with Nickira so I asked her what she wanted to do. She didn&#8217;t really have any specific suggestions so I made an executive decision to go to the movies. We hadn&#8217;t done that in a while. <\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xyjm5VQ11TQ\" frameborder=\"1\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>We decided to stop by Brian&#8217;s office since he was still at work and, on the way there, I asked Nickira to read the list of movies at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.palacemovies.com\"  target=\"_blank\">Palace<\/a>. None of the movies there appealed to her. Brian suggested Trolls so we drove to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.warrentheatres.com\"  target=\"_blank\">Warren West<\/a> down the street to see it. They had a 4:45 PM showing which was perfect. It allowed us enough time to get there, park, buy our movie tickets, get concessions, and secure the best seats. <\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/zAG5OvGZZOs\" frameborder=\"1\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m so glad we decided to see it. The movie was super awesome. They did a great job of blending new and old songs. <\/p>\n<p>There wasn&#8217;t a song at all I didn&#8217;t like. Even Nickira enjoyed the older songs, which I&#8217;m pretty sure she wasn&#8217;t familiar with before the movie. And, of course she knew all of the words to &#8220;Can&#8217;t Stop the Feeling!&#8221; She was singing along to it at the end of the movie.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s such a feel-good, fun, happy movie. I highly recommend it even if you don&#8217;t have any children in your life. I actually thought of taking Brian to see it but he has some other movies that he wants to see first (i.e. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt1211837\"  target=\"_blank\">Doctor Strange<\/a>). He says he will watch the movie with me when it comes out on either DVD or streaming.
