Plus, knowing that we were staying in town, I volunteered to teach a class on Memorial Day. Yes, this girl does not take any days off. Everyday that you&#8217;re alive is a day worth being productive. <\/p>\n<p>Anyway, since we weren&#8217;t leaving town but wanted to do something fun, Brian and I decided to check out Pinot&#8217;s Palette. We&#8217;d done painting parties at <a href=\"http:\/\/brubakers.us\/index.php?s=paint+the+towne\" >Paint the Towne<\/a> a few times before but we&#8217;d never been to Pinot&#8217;s Palette. <\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/27197143352\/in\/dateposted-public\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"   title=\"Untitled\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/c1.staticflickr.com\/8\/7025\/27197143352_e26668256c.jpg\" width=\"500\" class=\"pic\" height=\"375\" alt=\"Untitled\"><\/a><script async src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>We started the evening by having dinner at <a href=\"http:\/\/empireks.com\/restaurant\/sabor-latin-bar-grille\/\"  target=\"_blank\">Sabor<\/a>, one of our favorite restaurants. We picked it for a couple of reasons: great food and proximity to Pinot&#8217;s Palette. <\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/27261193956\/in\/dateposted-public\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"   title=\"Untitled\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/c5.staticflickr.com\/8\/7356\/27261193956_bbba072c6c.jpg\" width=\"500\" class=\"pic\" height=\"375\" alt=\"Untitled\"><\/a><script async src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>After our delicious dinner, we headed over to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.360wichita.com\/FoodandBeverage\/LiquorStores\/BeyondNapa.html\"  target=\"_blank\">Beyond Napa<\/a> (next to Pinot&#8217;s) to pick up a couple of bottles of wine to enjoy for the evening. <\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/27294440635\/in\/dateposted-public\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"   title=\"Untitled\"><img src=\"https:\/\/c4.staticflickr.com\/8\/7136\/27294440635_196564a2fc_c.jpg\" width=\"500\" class=\"pic\" alt=\"Untitled\"><\/a><script async src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Jarrica and her friend Sarah joined us. It was too dark and I don&#8217;t take very good photos. Anyway, Brian and I had to be up early the next day so we didn&#8217;t stay late.
