It only happens once a year after all. If you missed it, I guess there&#8217;s always next year.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/18059577878\"  title=\"Untitled by Ching Brubaker, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/c1.staticflickr.com\/9\/8851\/18059577878_4557ab3592.jpg\" width=\"500\" class=\"pic\" height=\"375\" alt=\"Untitled\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Brian and I got to walk in the Sundown Parade on opening night.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/18220981656\"  title=\"Untitled by Ching Brubaker, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/c1.staticflickr.com\/9\/8849\/18220981656_4c081157c9.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" class=\"pic\" alt=\"Untitled\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Faith and her kids were there too. It was a ton of fun. Next year I&#8217;m thinking of inviting my little sister Nickira to walk in the parade with us. I&#8217;d been to Riverfest before but I&#8217;d never had the patience to wait in line for one of the boat tours. This time we decided to wait it out because my friend Bill who is a Wagonmaster was the &#8220;voice&#8221; or tour guide.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/18096849739\/in\/datetaken-public\/player\/\" width=\"500\" height=\"282\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen oallowfullscreen msallowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>It was super fun and totally worth the wait. The river boat tour is definitely my favorite event at Riverfest. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wichitariverfest.com\/fun.php?page=day_calendar-event_schedule#day06-06-2015\"  target=\"_blank\">Tomorrow is your last chance to check out the 2015 Wichita River Festival<\/a> and participate in some of the fun events. I encourage you to swing by and check out the festivities because it&#8217;s not happening again until next year.
