With its exposed brick walls and hip ambiance, the restaurant reminds me of <a href=\"http:\/\/brubakers.us\/?p=12010\"  title=\"715\">715 in Lawrence<\/a>. Maybe it&#8217;s the lightbulbs.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/16886076309\"  title=\"Untitled by Ching Brubaker, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7638\/16886076309_e9e92959ed.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" class=\"pic\" alt=\"Untitled\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It didn&#8217;t take long for the restaurant to get packed.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/17071551961\"  title=\"Untitled by Ching Brubaker, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/farm9.staticflickr.com\/8797\/17071551961_2ccb626665.jpg\" width=\"500\" class=\"pic\" height=\"375\" alt=\"Untitled\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It was a busy evening so it took a while for our food to arrive. It was well worth the wait, though. Everyone who tried a bite loved it, except for Ginger who found it too sweet. It was quite decadent and super delicious. I know because I shared it with him. It&#8217;s definitely not to be missed.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/16884834120\"  title=\"Untitled by Ching Brubaker, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7717\/16884834120_290fbf8e0a.jpg\" width=\"500\" class=\"pic\" height=\"375\" alt=\"Untitled\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Another thing that&#8217;s not to be missed is a trip to the restroom.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/17070824222\"  title=\"Untitled by Ching Brubaker, on Flickr\"><img src=\"https:\/\/farm9.staticflickr.com\/8733\/17070824222_e306d5efdb_c.jpg\" width=\"500\" class=\"pic\" alt=\"Untitled\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Theis is definitely one of the coolest restrooms I&#8217;ve ever used.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/16864890617\"  title=\"Untitled by Ching Brubaker, on Flickr\"><img src=\"https:\/\/farm9.staticflickr.com\/8797\/16864890617_991a018d5f_c.jpg\" width=\"500\" class=\"pic\" alt=\"Untitled\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I also liked this sign on the wall which is a clever way of saying not to flush anything but toilet paper down the drain. It&#8217;s in keeping with the bathroom theme and decor.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/16884748190\"  title=\"Untitled by Ching Brubaker, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/farm9.staticflickr.com\/8762\/16884748190_5310b3ed6f.jpg\" width=\"500\" class=\"pic\" height=\"375\" alt=\"Untitled\"><\/a><\/p>\n<div style=\"float:left; padding-right:10px; padding-top:5px;\"><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.urbanspoon.com\/r\/7\/1646320\/restaurant\/DC\/Woodley-Park\/District-Kitchen-Washington\" ><img alt=\"District Kitchen on Urbanspoon\" src=\"http:\/\/www.urbanspoon.com\/b\/link\/1646320\/biglink.gif\" style=\"border:none;width:200px;height:146px\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>I really liked District Kitchen. There are lots of neat little restaurants in Woodley Park and I think this is one of the better ones. Darcy did a great job in picking it out.<\/p>\n<p>If you are ever in the area, District Kitchen is definitely worth checking out. And, the best part is that it&#8217;s only a metro stop away.
