As you know my birthday was on Thursday but I had to go to school and I had to work. I wasn’t really expecting much of anything. Well, I expected cake because we have this birthday thing where the last person to have a birthday brings cake for the next person and so on. So I knew there would be cake. I didn’t expect my cube to be decorated, though, and I certainly didn’t expect a gift. Everyone has been acting really sketchy and distant lately. To top it off I’ve been really crabby and disgruntled so I really didn’t think I deserved anything.<\/p>\n

I normally bring my trusty G3 for special occasions but I didn’t bring it on my birthday because I really didn’t think much of anything would happen. It was just like any other day.<\/p>\n

Except when I came to work, my cube had been decorated with balloons and streamers. Misty did an awesome of job of decorating. This is a picture that she took with her camera phone. Thank god for camera phones or I wouldn’t even have this picture at all to share with you.<\/p>\n

When it was slow enough, we had cake in the breakroom and they gave me a card and group gift: a $70 giftcard to Abercrombie. I think I mentioned that in passing on my last posting. I’ve even used it already. I’m such a shop-a-holic! It’s so sad.<\/p>\n

Brian wasn’t sure if my coworkers were doing anything for my birthday because I haven’t really associated with them of late. Brian, the wonderful husband that he is, decided to surprise me by bringing me a birthday cookie when he picked me up from work on Thursday night. Here are pictures of us in the garage.<\/p>\n
