Chocolate cobbler! Yum!\"><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<strong>Here&#8217;s the instructions.<\/strong><\/p>\n<li>Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.<\/li>\n<li>Melt <strong>6 tablespoons of butter<\/strong> in an 8 X 8 baking dish while the oven preheats.<\/li>\n<li>In a medium bowl, stir together <strong>1 cup of self-rising flour<\/strong>, <strong>3\/4 cup sugar<\/strong>, and <strong>1 1\/2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder<\/strong>. Stir in <strong>1\/2 cup of milk<\/strong> and <strong>1 teaspoon of vanilla extract<\/strong> until smooth.<\/li>\n<li>Spoon batter over the melted butter in the baking dish.<\/li>\n<li>In another bowl, mix <strong>1 cup of white sugar<\/strong> and <strong>1\/4 cup of cocoa powder<\/strong>, and sprinkle this dry mixture over the batter.<\/li>\n<li>Boil 1 1\/2 cups of water and slowly pour over the top of the mixture in the baking dish. Do not stir.<\/li>\n<li>Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes or until set.<\/li>\n<li>Serve slighly warm with ice cream.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is what the chocolate cobbler looks like fresh out of the oven. <\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ching\/10008271154\/\"  title=\"Oh yeah! by Ching, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/farm6.staticflickr.com\/5457\/10008271154_b68cfc586e.jpg\" class=\"pic\" width=\"500\" height=\"500\" alt=\"Oh yeah!\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It was gooey and amazingly delicious. I was impressed that our first attempt turned out so well. The only thing that could have made it better is if we had some vanilla ice cream, which we didn&#8217;t have. However, we are going to buy some ice cream so when we make this for the Post-Halloween Party we&#8217;ll be able to serve it with the proper accompaniment.
