Find Everything Fast
Posted on June 25, 2010 by Ching under Shopping, Tips.
Ever gotten frustrated at the local supermarket because you can’t find anything? If you shop the Dillons Marketplace at Central and Rock Road or the one in Andover, have I got a treat for you! Check out these Marketplace maps!
This one is a map of the Central and Rock Road Dillons Marketplace. You can pick up a copy of this map at the store, right by the entrance. You could also click on the picture above to enlarge it, print yourself a copy and never get lost again.
By the way, there’s a store directory inside. I’m posting it here so that you can it print out as well. Now, you can’t say I haven’t helped you out. Reading my blog is useful after all. =P
Here’s a map and directory of the Dillons Marketplace in Andover so that those of you who prefer to do your grocery shopping there don’t feel left out.
I will post a map of the West side Dillons Marketplace also (as soon as I can get my grubby, little hands on it) so that the West-siders don’t feel like I’m discriminating against them. I want to help make your shopping experience easier, no matter what side of town you live in. Happy grocery shopping!

Jenni’s Tanline
Posted on June 23, 2010 by Ching under Life.
Jenni showed off her weird tanline from the previous weekend. This is why you should always wear sunblock! It’s like she’s got perma-socks! =P

Chi-Chi in her Full Glory
Posted on June 23, 2010 by Ching under Babies.
So Penelope and Chi-Chi seem to both be doing well. We’re not green thumbs, but it’s a relief to know that we’re not plant killers either. Chi-Chi and Penelope are both looking fabulous right now.
P.S. Brian just informed me that my geranium is blooming as well. It’s a beautiful, wonderful, glorious, fantastic day!

Ladder Golf Weekend
Posted on June 22, 2010 by Ching under Family, Wishlist.
We played a lot of ladder golf this weekend. =P
We played it at the Phelpi during their wiener party, where the Blue Bombers (Jay and Hal) reigned the entire time.
Everyone tried, but the Blue Bombers could not be stopped.
Ronnie (who I’m told is good at EVERYTHING) finally got them in the end, but it took him a while. He had to learn how to play and hone his technique.
Check out Jay, all serious-like. =P
Here’s Cory, half of Phelpi. Not sure if he’s the better or lesser half. =P
When it got too dark to play ladder golf, it was time for Apples to Apples.
After Apples to Apples they started a poker tourney, which I opted out of — I was super tired. I had been up since six o’clock in the morning. I zonked out sometime after midnight. It was two thirty in the morning by the time Brian and I got home. I can’t believe we spent nine hours at the Phelpi. (Of course, I spent the first hour to hour and a half making French fries.) I’m pretty sure we overstayed our welcome.
The ladder golf continued the next day at my mom and dad’s. We just couldn’t get enough of it! =P
There, Brian was the champion. He was undefeated until the very end.
We all tried to beat Brian in vain.
Dad finally got him in an epic battle to the finish.
The first match between Brian and dad ended up in a tie-breaker. Brian won the tie-breaker round pretty easily. I had to give him a hard time for not letting dad win. Not even on Father’s Day!
Dad, who is pretty competitive but tries to down play his competitiveness, played another round right after that one. It was the best rematch ever. They were head-to-head and toe-to-toe the entire time. They were only one point apart for the entire game, with one or the other taking turns being in the lead.
A couple of times, Brian would land his ball then dad would knock it off and land his ball and then Brian would knock dad’s ball off and then dad would knock Brian’s ball off. It was intense and super fun to watch.
I really like our portable ladder golf game. It’s super fun! The only thing I don’t like about it is that it’s kind of flimsy. In fact, ours is broken already.
I prefer the wooden kind that we got dad for Christmas last year. It’s a lot sturdier.
When I have some extra money, I’m going to invest in the real deal. Then we can get rid of our cheap, generic ladder golf set. Then again, one of you guys could buy it for me for my birthday. (Hint! Hint!)
