My Badge of Honor [Geekiness]

A Geek Chart is a pie chart which shows where you do most of your sharing. Mine is particularly interesting because it gives equal portion to Flickr and Twitter.
I felt sure that Flickr would have a greater slice of the pie. I have almost 20,000 photos on Flickr and have been a member from the very beginning (since early 2004), while I’ve only been on Twitter since 2007 and have less than 5,000 updates. It was interesting to me that Flickr and Twitter came out even on my chart. I wonder what kind of algorithm they’re using… Hmm.. Anyway, you can check out my Geek Chart page here.
P.S. I also wonder if this chart will dynamically update over time. I guess we’ll see.

An All-American Date

Brian surprised me yesterday by taking me on an all-American date. He took me to a baseball game. I’d never been to a baseball game before so it was quite an adventure.
It was a real treat to watch the game from the Viega suite (Sky Box 1). I’m so glad Brian’s boss had extra tickets.
I had a good time despite the somewhat uneventful game. Inning after inning, the Wingnuts couldn’t couldn’t score. Of course, the Wingnuts’ winning streak would end the day that Brian and I come out to watch them.
I’d love to go again. Hopefully next time the Wingnuts will be victorious. It’s a lot more fun when your team is winning.

WPTAPL “Wylde” Caribbean Adventure

Have you booked your trip yet? The entire gang is going on another cruise poker cruise this year.
The ship will be sailing out of Miami and though the Eastern Caribbean this time, the side that Brian and I haven’t been to yet. If we weren’t going to the Philippines this year, we would be totally all over this. Seriously. We’d want to go as players this time, though. Playing is way, way more fun than dealing, that’s for sure.

Sock Reminds Me of Dill

Doesn’t Reaper’s Bert “Sock” Wysocki remind you guys of Dill? Reaper is one of Brian’s favorite TV shows. We’d been watching it for two seasons now and this didn’t dawn on me until last week. Sock did something funny, as he usually does on the show. It made me go, “That is so Dill!” Brian agreed. I can’t believe we didn’t realize it until now. =P
