Don’t Stop Believin’
Posted on August 8, 2005 by Ching under Life.
Working hard to get my fill,
everybody wants a thrill
Payin’ anything to roll the dice,
just one more time
Some will win, some will lose
Some were born to sing the blues
Oh, the movie never ends
It goes on and on and on and on
You know what I just realized? That song in Monster that I love so much? You know, the skating rink song? LC and Stephen sang along to it in the car in one of the new Laguna Beach episodes.. That song is by Journey! No wonder I love it!
I can’t believe I didn’t realize it sooner! So now Don’t Stop Believin’ outranks Open Arms and The Search is Over as my all-time favorite 80’s songs to sing along to..
Too bad mom and dad don’t have it in their Magic Sing. Brian would probably say, “Thank God they don’t have it in their Magic Sing!”
He doesn’t like my singing, but who can blame him? I can’t sing to save my life! That doesn’t stop me when I’m at my parents’ house or whenever we’re in the car, though. LOL.

Almost There.
Posted on August 8, 2005 by Brian under Web.
Well I am diligently working to get the rest of my site finished. As you all may have figured out. The buttons at the top currently lead to nowhere. I am building those pages this week and should have them up by the weekend. So please be patient and soon the site will be complete. Once that is accomplished I will post another entry announcing its overwhelming success.
That means that when its done you’ll get a post to quit whinnying about the links not working you big babies!

Don’t Dream It’s Over
Posted on August 7, 2005 by Ching under Movies.
There is freedom within, there is freedom without
Try to catch the deluge in a paper cup
There’s a battle ahead, many battles are lost
But you’ll never see the end of the road
While you’re travelling with meHey now, hey now
Don’t dream it’s over
Hey now, hey now
When the world comes in
They come, they come
To build a wall between us
We know they won’t winNow I’m towing my car, there’s a hole in the roof
My possessions are causing me suspicion but there’s no proof
In the paper today tales of war and of waste
But you turn right over to the TV pageHey now, hey now
Don’t dream it’s over
Hey now, hey now
When the world comes in
They come, they come
To build a wall between us
We know they won’t winNow I’m walking again to the beat of a drum
And I’m counting the steps to the door of your heart
Only shadows ahead barely clearing the roof
Get to know the feeling of liberation and reliefHey now, hey now
Don’t dream it’s over
Hey now, hey now
When the world comes in
They come, they come
To build a wall between us
Don’t ever let them win
“Don’t Dream It’s Over” by Crowded House is actually one of my favorite 80’s songs. It was playing on the radio on the way to poker. Incidentally, Brian tells me that this song is actually in the Real Genius soundtrack. You know, that movie that I’ve never ever seen. What a coincidence!

This is a photo of Misty taken at Josh’s house earlier this evening. She caught some cards and played really well tonight. She actually took fourth place.
Way to go, Misty!

Mysterious Bruises
Posted on August 7, 2005 by Ching under Life.
The bruises from over a week ago are still there. They haven’t gone away. They’re really freaking me out. I think I’ll need to schedule a visit with the doctor just to make sure I’m not dying or anything of that sort. YOGI » They don’t feel painful at all. Except for the discoloration, I wouldn’t know that they were there. I’ve probably had them for longer, but never realized it until recently. I really should go see the doctor. They could be stress-related. Work has been rough the last few weeks.
