When you are down in the dumps and don’t feel like you’re worth a damn, you need to get some positive self-talk going. Always remember that you cannot value others, if you do not value yourself first.
Sometimes I think I have so much self-talk going in my head that I have multiple personalities. Anyway, you can also scatter positive things to remind yourself to feel good about yourself throughout your house and work. Like writing positive statements on the bottom of the grocery list pad that’s on the fridge, or something nice about yourself on a Post It note on your computer monitor.
I don’t like for people to think I am nuts (though most probably already do) so I hid mine on my phone. Each time I turn on my phone, I am reminded that I am the best. Everyone needs positive affirmations every now and then.
So start today. Tell yourself how great you are. Love yourself. That love will soon grow and burst out of you and you won’t have any choice but to share your love with others.
As you know, I purchased a laptop to replace my Dell Mini 9 that I had sold. After ordering a Lenovo that wouldn’t stay connected to the internet and returning it within 24 hours, I ordered a Dell Mini 12 that was on backorder for over a month. Finally canceled that order and ordered a Dell Inspiron 13 instead.
In the meantime, during this whole ordeal, Brian’s laptop croaked so we had to get him a replacement. His laptop was ordered and arrived while I was waiting for the Dell Mini 12 order. He ended up getting a Dell Inspiron 15, which he is absolutely pleased with. Here’s a side-by-side comparison of our laptops.

I think the rest of the boring details are the same. I think my computer is better, though. LOL. And, I got it for less. Of course, the $100 Dell coupon helped. =P
I originally had serious reservations about Vista. I didn’t think I would like it. Actually, I thought it would be a pain and that I would absolutely hate it. Surprisingly, I like it a lot. I don’t mind being on Vista at all.
Brian and I got to visit Molly today at Tita Sol’s. She asked us to come over to help her with her DSL. The phone jack didn’t work so we couldn’t get her online. Brian connected everything else, though. AT&T just needs to get the phone jack going.
Molly smelled so good and her hair was so shiny and soft. Tita Sol is obviously taking very good care of her. Molly is getting so spoiled. I can tell!
The 80’s TV show V is getting remade. Looks like it might be good. We can’t wait.
